Finding focus

I truly find it amazing that when I limit my field of vision I actually manage to get something done.  I mean take for example Dante's torse and mantle, now he asked me to do it over a year ago and I put it off and put it off for one reason or another but in a 5 hour period last Saturday managed to get the lions share of it done.

I find that, for me, when I stop thinking about the complete picture of things I need/want to do and just take small bites I can actually get something done.

So with that in mind I think I am going to choose my next project and put away everything else.  Put away all the fabric or the paints or whatever ISN'T a part of my current undertaking to keep my focus on one thing at a time.  I have to learn the my time isn't like work time.  I don't have to keep my hands on all the balls in the air.  I don't need to constantly have 27 different project running at all times.  Now I know there will time when I will have "crunch times", the week before an event where I need two gowns, garb for Steve, finish documentation blah blah blah but day to day that just isn't the case.  So I need to just breath....breath and remember that I do these things because I enjoy them, not because I am expected to do them, am being paid to do them or have to do them.  This is my time.

Side note: I began the work on super secret project. (this one is all for me)
