Went out tonight and picked up the supplies I need so I now have NO excuses!!

I WILL PAINT this weekend and hopefully get some step by step pictures taken.

House Tapestry

This weekend I am going to work on the House Tapestry.

I need to hit HD to get some supplies but thats ok...shouldnt need too much.

I would like to get the main colors blocked out this weekend so I can start the detail work. I also need to consider how I am going to Water Proof this bad boy. Using Acylic paint so whatever I do will need to be tested so I dont ruin the tapestry once its done.

Any ideas??

I didnt do ANYTHING this weekend. Need to hit HD tonight to get the stuff I need to finish the shield but Im not 100% sure its gonna be done for Ymir.

Next - Ymir

Ymir is in two weeks and Marc & Alianor will be stepping down.

Which means...NO MORE GREEN!!!!!!

I have a red gown and black hood that I just need to add some gold to and my garb will be good to go. Need to check Steves Garb out this week to make sure he doesnt need anything new. We are only day tripping so just need the one outfit each.

Now...A&S...I had been working on a painted shield, I think I am going to finish it and either put it on display or (if I have time to do the research) enter it as a tool of war. I need to finish the edge, attache the boss and put a finish coat on the whole thing, so we shall see.

Dante is supposed to be over here about 4pm and I will fit it to his helm and pray it fits!!

I think it will and if I may say I think it looks cool!!

Question: Who does applique on ANYTHING without an iron?

I discovered my iron has died which meant that I needed to free hand this bad boy.  Thank god the two fabrics had a bit of grip on each other.

I will post a pic of it on his helm once its fitted and laced on.

On item off the list!! What's next???

*Looks around at the fabric bomb that has gone off*....clean up is next!!
